Class Notes / Context

I teach a class on thursday nights in downtown Knoxville on "How to Draw Caricatures."  It's going OK.  I've got 10 highschoolers of varying abilities and interest levels, but on Thursdays we come together to study the human face and figure out how to exaggerate it.  I've learned a ton; hopefully it's not a complete loss to the kids.  More pictures from class artwork to come!  (Tips appreciated - like the wisdom kind of tips this time.)

Tony! Dude, what's your problem?! You're awesome! Of course they're learning! I've got the pictures to prove it! And they did a great job today! (And I never use this many exclamation points ever !)

ha! Thanks for the encouragement ms Jennifer! It's funny, every class I think is better, and every time I think: "i wish i could start over and do it THIS way from the beginning." But really I think it's going well and these kids are doing AWESOME!

Hey dude I'm sure they're learning a lot from you! You did my Caricature at apple blossom and you did an amazing job! I'm not very good at portraits so you helped me learn a few things just by sitting and watching! Good luck!

Thanks Terrance, I'm glad you came out and decided to get drawn! I appreciate your comments and the fact that you picked up a couple things - I know I've learned so much from other artists myself!

the general specific? I think the specific general is more apt - you are the "general of art"! I love that your work glorifies our Father in oh so many ways. Keep up the good work Tone.
