What I've Been Staring At

SO for the past three days I've been designing a logo for one of my favorite companies - here is the process I went through for one of my designs:
PART 1: thumbnail drawing
PART 2: acrylic painting
PART 3: Finished in photoshop

thanks Brad - I've been a little obsessed with this thing, I've turned out like 15 logos for the same company! Help!
Hope all is good.

Tones,

This looks awesome! I have a question/suggestion. How will it be used? Online only? The reason I ask is because if it's going to be rolled out across print, web, etc, you may have some cost considerations with so many colors and fine lines in the design. Also reproducing it at smaller sizes might cause some trouble. I wish I could paint!

you are so right. can you give me a class on logo design? or wait....just design? i'm only half kidding.....i always feel like digital work is like asking me to draw blindfolded with my left hand. hey that sounds like fun......
